Confirm that you are registered
Registration for the 15 August test is closed because every place has been filled. You may sit the test only if the Swedish Migration Agency referred you, you registered, and you received an admission notice. As of 11 August 2026, UHR had not published a later test date.
Read and print your admission notice
Sign in to your registration account and read the notice carefully. It gives your exact room, assigned place, and the rules that apply to you. UHR instructs participants to print the notice and bring it with them. Plan your journey to Stockholmsmässan in Älvsjö in advance and allow extra time for queues and identity checks.
Follow the day’s timetable
- 08:15: the venue opens.
- 09:30: admission to the venue closes.
- 10:00: the test begins with instructions, and you must be in your assigned place.
- Most participants are expected to finish the test itself at about 12:00, but nobody may leave until UHR has collected the papers.
These are UHR’s general times. Your admission notice is the document you must follow.
Bring the correct documents and items
You must show valid, physical Swedish identification that displays your Swedish personal identity number. According to UHR’s test-day information, a foreign passport and electronic identification are not accepted. Check UHR’s current list of accepted documents and their expiry dates well in advance.
- Bring the printed admission notice.
- Preferably bring a pencil or mechanical pencil and an eraser.
- Simple pharmacy earplugs are permitted, but you may need to show them to the test supervisor.
- Leave computers and larger valuables at home.
Keep prohibited items away from your desk
Mobile phones, smart watches, digital watches, headphones, and other electronic equipment are not permitted at the desk. Food and drink are not permitted there unless an approved adjustment applies. Follow the staff’s instructions. A participant who breaks the rules or leaves during the test risks receiving no result.
Know the format
The test is in Swedish and on paper. It contains 60 multiple-choice questions. Each question has four options and one correct answer. The actual test time is 90 minutes. UHR states that wrong answers do not receive negative marks, so do not leave a question unanswered only because you are uncertain.
Make a final check the evening before
- Admission notice printed and identification valid.
- Route, departure time, and an alternative journey checked.
- Pencil and eraser packed.
- Phone ready to be switched off and stored as instructed.
- Food, drink, and medical needs planned according to UHR’s rules and any approved adjustment.
