Confirm that you are registered
The 15 August test is over. UHR released the results on 22 October 2026 and plans the next society-knowledge test for April–May 2027. The exact date, locations, registration opening, question count and duration have not yet been published. A new sitting requires a new invitation from the Swedish Migration Agency and a new UHR registration.
Read and print your admission notice
Sign in to your registration account and read the notice carefully. It gives your exact room, assigned place, and the rules that apply to you. UHR instructs participants to print the notice and bring it with them. Plan your journey to Stockholmsmässan in Älvsjö in advance and allow extra time for queues and identity checks.
The timetable used on 15 August
- 08:15: the venue opens.
- 09:30: admission to the venue closes.
- 10:00: the test begins with instructions, and you must be in your assigned place.
- Most participants are expected to finish the test itself at about 12:00, but nobody may leave until UHR has collected the papers.
These times are a historical summary of the August trial, not a timetable for 2027. Your new admission notice is always the document to follow.
Bring the correct documents and items
You must show valid, physical Swedish identification that displays your Swedish personal identity number. According to UHR’s test-day information, a foreign passport and electronic identification are not accepted. Check UHR’s current list of accepted documents and their expiry dates well in advance.
- Bring the printed admission notice.
- Preferably bring a pencil or mechanical pencil and an eraser.
- Simple pharmacy earplugs are permitted, but you may need to show them to the test supervisor.
- Leave computers and larger valuables at home.
Keep prohibited items away from your desk
Mobile phones, smart watches, digital watches, headphones, and other electronic equipment are not permitted at the desk. Food and drink are not permitted there unless an approved adjustment applies. Follow the staff’s instructions. A participant who breaks the rules or leaves during the test risks receiving no result.
Know the historical format
The August test was in Swedish and on paper. It contained 60 multiple-choice questions and allowed 90 minutes. After the trial, UHR selected 40 questions for scoring and set the passing threshold at 28 out of 40. UHR has not yet published the question count, duration or passing threshold for the next sitting, so do not treat the August format as a promise for 2027.
Use the checklist when your next notice arrives
- Admission notice printed and identification valid.
- Route, departure time, and an alternative journey checked.
- Pencil and eraser packed.
- Phone ready to be switched off and stored as instructed.
- Food, drink, and medical needs planned according to UHR’s rules and any approved adjustment.
