What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. Provkollen may also use local storage, which works in a similar way but is not sent with every web request. This policy covers both.
Storage currently used
- Language choice
- Remembers whether you selected Swedish, English or Arabic.
- Colour theme
- Remembers whether you explicitly selected light or dark mode.
- Practice progress
- Saves results and bookmarked questions locally so you can continue on the same device.
- Consent choice
- Saves the choice you make through Google's certified consent management platform so it does not need to ask on every visit.
- Technical security
- The hosting and authentication services may use necessary, short-lived cookies for secure traffic, sessions and abuse prevention.
Necessary storage, or storage used at your express request when you use a feature, is not used by Provkollen for behavioural profiling.
When you sign in
The sign-in service uses necessary session cookies to remember that you are signed in and to protect your account. They cannot be disabled while you remain signed in because the account feature would no longer work. You can remove them by signing out or clearing site data.
Advertising and optional storage
The Google AdSense code is installed on every page, and the site has an ads.txt file. Whether ads are actually served depends on Google's site review and the site owner's AdSense settings. For visitors in the EEA, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, Google's certified consent management platform presents the available choices and manages consent for advertising storage where it is required.

Manage or delete storage
Your browser settings let you view, block and delete cookies and site data for provkollen.se. Blocking necessary storage may stop language preferences, theme preferences, saved progress and sign-in from working.
