Questions about Sweden’s citizenship test
What is the published test format?
UHR states that the society test has about 60 questions, 90 minutes, four answer choices and one correct answer. It is taken in Swedish on paper. These facts were checked on 10 August 2026.
Are all 525 questions free?
Yes. Every question, explanation, source, quick test and full simulation is free. An account is optional and is used only to synchronize progress.
Can I take the official test in English or Arabic?
The English and Arabic versions on Provkollen are study aids. The official test is in Swedish, so you should also practise in Swedish to learn the terminology used in the test.
What is the official passing score?
UHR had not published a passing threshold as of 10 August 2026. Provkollen therefore reports your practice result without claiming that any particular score is an official pass.
